I ll show you the best way to use your silhouette cameo to cut a large design using this super cute embroidery design.
You do not have to have an electronic cutting machine to work with vinyl.
In fact one of my favorite vinyl projects that my kids and i did together was entirely cut by hand however to make things easier and to get super clean cuts and intricate designs you will want an electronic cutting machine like a silhouette.
You can easily work with printable vinyl with just a pair of scissors or a craft knife.
Place your printed and laminated sheet onto your cutting mat and feed that into your silhouette.
Go back into silhouette studio and move the white layer off the virtual mat.
Resize your image if needed load your vinyl select your material set the blade depth and hit the send button.

Create a monogram in silhouette studio once you have designed imported your artwork into silhouette studio and converted it to a cut file you are ready to cut it out.
For this project i used two sheets of 12x24 removable vinyl which only cost about 3 50 but the challenge that many people find when cutting large decals is how to cut a large decal when their cutter is only 12 wide.
When it s finished cutting unload it from the machine and set it aside.
Load your piece of white vinyl on the silhouette cutting mat and into the silhouette cameo machine and send it to be cut.
Line up the cutting mat with the arrows on the left then hit load on the touchscreen on the right.
Printable adhesive vinyl works great with an electronic cutting machine but i just want to make it clear that you absolutely do not have to have a fancy cutting machine to make your own vinyl decals.
Move the pink layer on and repeat the steps to cut the pink layer.
